Creative Practice Podcast

In Other Words, co-hosted with Bay Area artist Jin Zhu, will feature guest artists, scientists, and creatives who will share their research and creative practice through word mapping. This quirky, interesting, and interdisciplinary podcast begins with a prompt to map the bridges between two words that are seemingly unrelated and inconsequential to each other. Our first episode is titled “From Holes to Power.” Guaranteed to get you thinking creatively!

Our Book

Creative Practice Everyday will feature the best of our blog and DIY channel. We have created simple lesson plans parents and educators can do with everyday materials to facilitate concept based learning with an emphasis on social emotional learning, mindful body awareness and growth mindset. Kids and adults alike will learn better how to talk about difference, inclusion and belonging, all scaffolded by their developing creative practice.

Creative Practice Studio is MOVING!

We are losing our beloved cozy location in the Spring of 2022!

While this move is unexpected, we believe in what is possible and CPS rule #1:

keep going, keep going, keep going!

The move offers all of us an exciting opportunity to create a community space with the possibility of expanded offerings for classes and workshops, like a kitchen lab, digital design studio with a laser cutter and ceramics to the curriculum.

Creative Practice Studio can evolve into a real maker space and can grow!

We will be kicking it off over Thanksgiving until we move!
