Our Offerings

Creative Practice Studio offers classes and camps that encourage kids to experiment with new ideas, take creative risks and have fun! Our cozy studio is located adjacent to Shari’s house and contains everything kids need to explore and create. Classes are tailored to meet the ages, needs and interests of each child. We welcome all spectrum of learners and often partner with occupational therapists to collaborate on goals. All classes incorporate art and occupational therapies, and social-emotional learning skills.

One-on-one sessions

One-on-One session: help kids build creative confidence, reduce anxiety and strengthen social-emotional skills. Kids often grapple with big feelings that can be hard to process. Creativity provides a vital tool to help them land in their bodies, regulate emotions and feel happier! Our first session is spent getting to know each other, a creative process unto itself. From there, we let their curiosity lead the way. Sessions can be 60 to 90 minutes.

Creative Camps for Girls

We love working with girls! Working in small groups gives girls a safe and inspiring space to explore their resourcefulness and creativity. We shift the focus away from getting things “right” to leaning into finding and expressing their unique voice. Camps can be organized around a particular theme, or campers may choose to collaborate on a larger project.

Parent Coaching

Curious to know how a creative practice can support your child, family and even you? Our coaching sessions help parents unpack their social-emotional concerns and bring creative lessons home to share with their families. Whether it’s developing a family charter or theme, we can help develop a curriculum of creativity to help problem-solve and express feelings and experiences.
