Our Offerings

Creative Practice Studio offers classes and camps that invite kids to have fun, experiment, take creative risks, and learn new skills through making. Our cozy, well-stocked studio provides everything kids need to explore, imagine, and create.

Programs are thoughtfully tailored to each child’s age, interests, and learning style. We welcome all spectrums of learners, and our classes naturally integrate social-emotional learning through play, collaboration, and creative practice.

Group Classes & One-on-One Sessions

Group Classes

Our small group classes invite kids to explore a wide range of art-making practices in a playful, supportive environment. Classes may include printmaking, sculpture, fiber and jewelry arts, new media, installation, design, drawing, painting and more — all taught through open-ended, process-based projects that encourage experimentation and collaboration.

One-on-One Creative Sessions

Our one-on-one sessions offer a personalized, relationship-centered space where kids can build creative confidence, reduce anxiety, and strengthen social-emotional skills at their own pace. The first session is dedicated to getting to know each other — a creative process in itself. Sessions are available in 60- or 90-minute formats and are tailored to meet each child exactly where they are.

Girl Pods

We love working with girls! Working in small groups gives girls a safe and inspiring space to explore their resourcefulness and creativity. We shift the focus away from getting things “right” to leaning into finding and expressing their unique voice. Pods can be organized around a particular theme or interests of the groups, we may choose to make individual projects or to collaborate on a larger project. Girl Pods are ideal for making new friends, but also can be scheduled for an already formed group of friends to spend an hour making in an adorable setting with all the good stuff! Special Programs & Studio Experiences

CPS Weekend Crafty Labs offer families a warm, welcoming drop-in creative studio experience every Saturday and Sunday. Kids can explore open-ended materials, try a guided project, or simply play, make, and create at their own pace in an inspiring environment. Drop-in visits are $75 for up to two hours, and families can also choose a monthly membership for $150 (or $130 for two siblings), which includes one Crafty Lab each weekend plus priority registration for camps and special workshops, members-only events, and discounts on (P)Arties, merchandise, and more—giving your child a consistent creative “home base” to return to all year.

Creative Date Nights are special evenings where kids enjoy guided creative play, making, and connection at the studio while parents get a well-earned night out. With a minimum of 4 kids, it’s a relaxed, playful experience that’s perfect for date nights, friend groups, or shared family plans.

CPS (P)Arties are joyful, art-filled celebrations for kids or adults—birthdays, Paint & Sip nights, baby showers, bridal showers, and more. Each party includes custom creative projects, beautiful materials, and full setup and cleanup so you can focus on connection and fun.

Creative Reframe sessions offer families a creative reset through guided art-making that results in a Family Charter—a visual, meaningful expression of your shared values, rhythms, and intentions. It’s a collaborative process that creates something tangible and lasting beyond the session.

CPS Teen Internship Program is a small, mentorship-based cohort for teens who want to deepen their creative voice and work at a more advanced level in a supportive studio setting. Interns develop original projects through research and hands-on making, culminating in a professionally produced gallery exhibition, with limited space and an application required.
