Inspiring kids to live happier lives by building a skill set of curiosity and discovery

Our Offerings

Creative Practice Studio (CPS) offers a new approach to art education—one that treats creativity as a practiced skill kids can use in every part of life.

flexible thinking and problem-solving
confidence in self-expression
focus and follow-through
supportive social connection
trust in their ideas

Our Approach

At CPS, we believe creativity isn’t something you have or don’t have—it’s something you practice. Through play, curiosity, experimentation, and care, kids build creative confidence and learn to trust their own ideas.

We offer a warm, inclusive studio where kids can strengthen problem-solving skills, develop focus, and experience making mistakes as meaningful discoveries.

Our Classes, Girl Pods, Camps, and Crafty Labs use process-based artmaking as a joyful scaffold for social-emotional learning, wellbeing, and a healthy growth mindset.

We welcome all brains and all kinds of learners, supporting kids in becoming more themselves—and approaching challenges with creativity and confidence.

Build your creative muscle. Art is cardio.

Meet Shari

Shari Paladino is a Bay Area artist, designer, and educator with nearly two decades of experience in art education. Her work is grounded in a pedagogy that understands creativity as a vital, practiced life skill — shaped through curiosity, repetition, experimentation, and care.

Shari’s philosophy begins with a simple belief: we are all naturally creative. Creativity isn’t something you have or don’t have — it’s something you practice. Just as we build strength through movement or skill through sports, creativity grows through regular use. By focusing on process over perfection, and practice over outcomes, we honor the process of learning to learn— everyone’s journey is a creative one, shaped by growth, difference, change, and becoming.
