Girl Pods start with a friend group. The same girls. The same afternoon every week. A familiar place to create, experiment, build friendships, and look forward to something special after school—like a playdate that keeps going.
We usually begin by experimenting and playing with the materials in the studio. As new interests emerge, kids naturally start wanting to learn new skills. From there, we often develop a larger project that unfolds over several weeks, with fun take-home prototypes along the way.
One group might end up building miniature interiors with tiny furniture and wallpaper. Another might design T-shirts, create wearable art, build sculptures, open a pop-up shop, or invent something none of us saw coming. Every pod develops its own personality.
Pods can start with as few as three friends (boys are welcome too!) and usually grow quickly as classmates and siblings want to join. Six is the sweet spot.
One thing parents end up loving is how easy it becomes. Families can take turns driving each week, coordinate pick-ups, and share the fun because everyone already knows each other.
✨ This fall I have room for just three new after-school pods. Once those weekly time slots are filled, they’ll become part of the studio’s rhythm for the school year.
Current Openings
I can also shift the start time to 3:30–5:30 PM depending on school dismissal and driving schedules.
5:30–7:00 PM is also available and is a great fit for middle schoolers or another custom pod.
